I'm trying to avoid becoming a fundamentalist atheist, myself. Extremism is extremism. I'll share my point of view, but I sure as hell don't want to force someone else to believe the same. Unfortunately, on DU, simply expressing my opinion makes others think I am forcing them to believe what I believe. :shrug: I just say what I think. You're free to disagree.

You can torture your ex-boyfriend to death ONLY if a different ex-boyfriend attacked you two years earlier. It helps if their skin tone is somewhat similiar to one another.

And you can get a "Get Out of Jail Free" card if you're a General so be sure to glue some stars on your shoulders prior to the torture. That's how I understand it.

on edit: I just read further down thread and realized this was a religious dispute. You can still torture but you must claim it has nothing to do with religion. Call him an evildoer and tell everyone he hates you for your freedoms. Then torture him and don't forget the dog leash. Take pictures too.
