I got the impression from the other post (well, and this one of yours as well), that the RW had co-opted the Smurfs' image in order to take shots at UNICEF because it's part of the United Nations. Silly of me -- the wingnuts aren't clever enough and don't have the artistic talent to do something like that (we've all seen their amateurish picket signs).
