the stupid ass jerk in his big stupid ass truck who took the parking space at the store I was obviously waiting for, as in sitting in my car with my BLINKER on. I was coming from the other direction, closer to the space than me. He looked at me, and turned into the spot as soon as the other driver pulled out.

12. A guy at school did that to me one day...

Do you know he had the nerve to look out his window at me and go,'Haha!' Yes, he laughed, like it was some sort of contest.

I parked my car, and the big jerk was STILL at the parking space--lording over his victory. :eyes: So I said something to him. I calmly and politely asked him if it was funny that he almost caused an accident, by cutting me and two other drivers off, just to get a parking place someone else was obviously already waiting patiently for.

He just looked confused and blurted some stupid catch phrase like,"snooze you lose." Then tried to say he didn't see me, when he saw I was serious.Riiight, didn't see me, as he laughed in my face!

He just continued on, defending his ignorance. Another guy who he also cut off, going the wrong way to get the spot, came along really pissed and threatened to kick his ass. LOL!

Sorry some asshole did that to you. If he does it a lot, chances are some day, he may get his ass kicked for it,... if it's any consolation. ;)

Cut off in a parking space that is.

To make a long story short (simply put: the last thing I wanted was the police responding), the shit-stain parked his vehicle unassisted, but left the space on the back end of a tow truck. :evilgrin:

3. In addition to which

how many times have you been sitting in a turn lane with impatient people sitting behind you honking and can't make the turn because you can't see beyond the wall of metal in the lane next to you? It would be different if it were a car. You can see the coming traffic through their windows to safely make your turn.

I say beside the fact that they are inefficient energy wasters, they are also unsafe on many levels and cause unnecessary delays in traffic.

5. One time a friend of mine was sitting in a left-turn lane

and had to wait for oncoming traffic to clear so she could turn. This ass in a truck right behind her got impatient, gunned his motor, rammed into her and pushed her car out into the middle of the intersection! The he sped off, almost hitting other cars in the process. Fortunately, a nearby pedestrian got the license number and the police caught him. But my poor friend was so shook up she had to take the rest of the day off (she had been returning to the office from an appointment). Sometimes I think people who want to drive big ass trucks should have to undergo a psych eval first!

I haven't had it that bad. But I have had people sitting behind me honking because of course they can see but can't seem to figure out why I can't.

People are refusing to see things from another's POV in so many ways these days. Sad, really.

Because there are more asshole jerkwad drivers per square mile here than anywhere I've been. And it's gotten much worse lately.

I think I'm going to invent a new product. It will be a long piece of stick-on vinyl that looks like a "key job". That's right, when asshole comes back to his bad vehicle, he'll see a long awful "scratch". Given that he's probably a fucking moron, it might take him days to realize it is merely a vinyl applique.

I really need to go trademark/patent this now :)

17. Well, I lived in Ft. Worth for awhile....

and one day, while I was driving from FW to Dallas, really crazy ass jerk hit me from behing (I was driving a van that only had the two front seats in it so it was pretty light). I careened into the divider between the two directions of the freeway, bounced off, careened back across 4 lanes of traffic, and ended up on the grassy incline facing the other way! This guy, and the 4 underaged kids with him, had all been drinking. And he was uninsured so guess who's insurance company had to pay to fix the van? :grr:

19. I've got one for today, also.

I work on the Warner Bros. movie lot and the "streets" are extremely narrow between the sound stages. I make a turn and see a big truck coming the other way. I pull over so the truck can go past me. He stops, lets someone out of the truck, puts on his flashers and sits there. I'm thinking, "WTF? He saw me pull over for him...he isn't going to park his truck there and wait..." Sure enough, that is what he was doing.

I pull up next to him and say, "Excuse me, can you pull your truck up so I can get through?" And the dickhead looked at me like I was inconveniencing him!!

He gets my "Dumbass of the Day" award.

"Hat-heads" in that they are invariably a guy in a tricked out truck who has a too-tight baseball type hat cocked on their tiny pinhead who are obviously compensating for SOMETHING who think they own the road to the detriment of everyone who actually paid attention to the driving test and who we have to dodge or else we will DIE!!!!
