It should be pretty easy if you know the night sky. ;)

25. I am an astronomy dunce, can you tell me what celestial body I saw
last night that was orange? I didn't get a pic, but it looked like an orange star. I assume Mars, since I heard that it was really close earlier this year (like, crazy close) that it might still be pretty close.

29. Uh, the big part?
I have no clue. If you knew Sacramento, I could describe where I was and where I was looking, but i have NO sense of direction!

My husband tells me I might have been facing 'roughly east', based on my description...

Edited on Tue Oct-11-05 09:34 PM by GrpCaptMandrake
Your photography?

If so, what were the nuts and bolts settings?

Of course, that's not the belt. That's ursa minor, as I later noticed. Sure explains the brightness of the belt.

Now where's that ":imadoofus:" emoticon?

41. Noticed you're in MN
Am sorta jealous. My nine year old son would give most anything, even, maybe, a Batman action figure, for a view of the Aurora Borealis.

Few and far between down here in WV

We had some about a month ago that were just dancing all over the sky. It was sure a beautiful sight!
