I'm sitting here in a Red Cross shelter after Katrina....I haven't had a decent meal in a month, I haven't found half my family yet, I think I have strep throat from all the coughing around me, I got a debit card to an account that no longer exists and, to top it off, my clothes were stolen while I was in the shower just now.

And now, I just heard that you paid for psychiatric sessions for your goddamn dog. You may have thought to donate to this shelter so I can have some heat at night, but you decided that 'Lil Princess needs to work out her anger issues and that was the priority? What the fuck?!!!

Also, there is a child in need here in my hometown--she's a Rita evacuee--and DUers have been sending money and packages to her.
