I had to give my kitten a bath today, medical reason. That was one
pissed off kitten.

She is over it now, but she gave me evil looks the whole day.

I will have to give here at least two more baths, I am not looking forward to this.

2. Get her used to them now
while she is young. It makes it much easier as she gets older.

3. Bathing advice
I've had to bathe cats from time to time. The safest and least-traumatic way I've found is to put the cat into an empty kitchen sink with a towel on the bottom for them to grab onto and then wash them with the spray attachment. There seems to be a lot less panic if they don't actually stand in water.

7. I feel for you and I can relate.
My year old cat, Flame, got a tear wound on her back leg on Friday night that required 6 stitches on Monday. Now she has to wear one of those cone things around her head for the next 10 days and get antibiotics twice a day for a week. Plus, she has to stay INside all that time and can't even lick herself, so she's pretty miserable...not to mention very pitiful-looking as she wanders about the house and bumps into things.

Poor kitty. I'd post a pix if I knew how. You'll just have to imagine it. :)
