Did anybody watch that show, "Jack and Bobby"?

There's a thread about the Geena Davis show where she plays the president. I've not seen it, but maybe I'll tune in sometime, just to check it out.

The thread made me think of "Jack and Bobby." I was so excited about that show and enjoyed the first two or three episodes. Then came the episode where they revealed that Bobby grew up to be a republican and only left that party after another republican was nasty to him or some such thing. Boo hoo.

I could not watch another minute of the show after that. Did anybody else watch it? Was anybody sad when it got cancelled?
