Last one we stayed at was the Northstar in Minneapolis. (Beautiful city, by the way. Very clean.)

Of course I work at one in Milwaukee so I stay there every day (well, for 8 hours).

61. The Brochure Says "Sleeps Six"... That Actually Means...
"room enough for two adults to sleep comfortably and still have room to store their food, coolers, dry clothes, towels, and other assorted camping gear.

"Sleeps Six" means that two adults and four small children can find a place inside to lay down when it's on display at the RV dealership... and when you don't have to worry about finding room for all your CAMPING STUFF.

But... to answer your other question. No, they aren't talking about the pop-up travel trailer. They are referring to my basement... the sex-dungeon.

AmeriSuites Denver Airport - Ted's Montana Grill next door
Very nice, great van service back and forth to airport and rental car agency. Also cost=$0 thanks to Hyatt points (Hyatt = one of the few blue hotel companies, so I've been making a point to stay there and and at Hiltons this year) My SO likes to stay up late watching TV, so the "suite" setup worked well.

We don't have Ted's Montana Grill in Pennsylvania, but thanks to some wingnut conversation at the dude ranch ("I would never eat there. He used to be married to Jane Fonda, and he said he doesn't believe in God!") we made a point to check it out.

We were really impressed. Excellent carnivore food and moderate prices, and the atmosphere was wonderful. We had just come off a rough day of travel, and we couldn't have asked for anything better.

71. Best Western Amarillo Inn
For a couple of days before closing on the house. Pet-friendly with a big open area out back, away from traffic. Good for the doggie who had been cooped up in the car or on his leash for the 4-day drive from FL. Funny, now that we live within fairly easy driving distance from our favorite vac. spots in NM and CO, we never go.

5+ Days a week for about 3 weeks, for 6 years. Because I was a State Rep. I was given a few perks, like a microwave, refridge, and cabinets for a decent price.

My last time there was in March of 04. They have an attached place called Margaritas, and many of my friends showed up. Gawd, I miss that place and and all of them!
