4. Aw, she's truly beautiful!

I'm looking forward to seeing my girl be that big someday, but it's awfully bittersweet. Having my oldest boy has shown me how rapidly the years fly past. It becomes hard to remember the way their little voices tripped over words and the softness and sweetness of them, and pictures can never capture that.

My little girl is getting married next June - she recently emailed me photos of herself trying on her wedding gown (she's 23). I'm going to be a wreck at this wedding, I already know, because I started bawling uncontrollably when I looked at the photos. I still see the little curly headed kid in kindergarten (I cried at kindergarten graduation too).

Realtively poised and confident. Don't have any idea if that's really true... but it'd be a great compliment taken the way I meant it.

She also looks like she doesn't put up with much nonsense. Pretty face and confident demeanor.
