You know, this 16 kids story is the ultimate proof... |
|
That those asinine movies (and in this case "Cheaper by the Dozen", "Yours, Mine, and Ours", and so on) do encourage "impressionable" minds to do the stupidity they see on screen.
I don't care who you are, what part of this blighted planet you live on, your skin color, none of it. For two people, 16 kids is way too many. Especially on a planet containing 6+ BILLION of us.
We don't need help repopulating.
Maybe in 3 years after the nuke war, but not now dammit!
Buy some condoms, please. I do! And I don't even "go there"!

I posted about it in an earlier thread. It's utterly irresponsible to have that many rug rats and not think about the overpopulation problems we have. We can't even seem to feed, clothe, house, and rescue the ones we already have now.

The Jim Bob Fundies saw "Yours, Mine and Ours" and decided that was what they wanted? Ridiculous. Their assembly line is based on "Be fruitful and multiply."
(On edit: Sorry, bad click. Intended to respond to the OP.)
