1. My last boss was a CFO then when the company got
purchased became VP of Ops, he was a sweetheart and he definitely had a soul. I know others with souls too, though I didn't personally know anyone higher than VP level so I'm not sure about them.:-)

2. The people in Corporate Human Resources definitely have no souls
They remind me more of aliens than any other group of people I know.

4. C'mon, EVERYbody has a soul! Jeez...they might not be an
enlightened soul, but they have them!

BTW, my hubby is a VP at a techie startup company and he definitely has a soul.

5. Everybody has a soul but
some people lose sight of the fact that people are more important than things, and that happens a lot in Corporate America.

6. Agreed...and those are what I was referring to: the "unenlightened
souls"

7. I did have one boss
a newspaper publisher who didn't really want to be a suit. He'd been in advertising, where all publishers come from, so he was all about marketing and very little about news. But after 5 p.m. and sometimes between 8 and 5, he could be one of the guys. He was into motorcycles and SCA and some other cool stuff, and when he wasn't being The Boss, I kinda liked him.

But the rest of 'em can burn in hell.
