Are you on my trip route?
Am driving I-40 from CA to OKC beginning of November, and then coming back via I-40, I-25, and then I-10 to pass through Tucson to see friends.

11. That would be awesome!
We could meet for coffee or brunch...something like that.

When I leave Tucson, i usually make the 10 hour drive to Central CA all in one day...'course, in November, that would also depend on if it's foggy days here in the valley or not...

It's got a great view...I was thinking something down in Bricktown. Mostly for selfish reasons though. I'm not good at planning stuff like that. Any other OKCers willing to plan something?

Haven't been down there since it's been re-urbanized...geez, last time down there was about 1969 when I went with my brother who went to score a matchbox of pot  He made me stay in the car...it was creepy then... I KNOW it's much different there now!

Fireworks?? Damn..can't remember the name of the place Firecrackers??

Also, I LOVE The Blue Willow restaurant!

Anyway, lived east side when going to high school there, then NW off Cortaro and Thornydale for past 2.5 years while I went to design school.

The closest name I can think of near Ft. Lowell and Campbell
is Pastiche.

That's probably not it.

Anyhow, I hope you have a pleasant and safe trip.

Now, everyone sing along:

"Some trails are happy ones,
Others are blue.
It's the way you ride the trail that counts,
Here's a happy one for you.
Happy trails to you,
Until we meet again.
Happy trails to you,
Keep smilin' until then."

43. Sounds good.
Their menu looks appetizing.

http://www.dotucson.com/restaurant.asp?qry=14

Cashew Chicken
Red and green bell peppers, water chestnuts, snow peas, scallions and cashews.

Pacific Rim Salad
Salmon seared with Pacific Rim spices, served with snow peas, cucumbers, tomatoes and cilantro vinaigrette.

I can't decide.

If you remember the Tucson Weekly, { http://www.tucsonweekly.com}
you might appreciate this snip from Tom Danehy's column,
topic 'Two kinds of people.'

"Those who think that Rush Limbaugh is a big, fat, pompous,
lying drug addict who would be in jail if he were an average
citizen and those who know he's lost some weight."

I've been on the keyboard too much today.
