Sorry, I thought this was a typo. I thought you meant the 1970s Minnesota Vikings (with the famous Fran Tarkenton!).

Now I understand you meant the real thing. Just curious as to why? :hi:

Kitchenwitch DID post a thread titled "Can we have the Vikings of the 1970s back". It's further on down the page.

When I saw her thread title, I immediately thought of the real Vikings, and "Copycatted" her thread.

Of course, no one would REALLY want the bloodthirsty Vikings back.
It was just a joke. (Although, they really made some beautiful artworks).

On edit: now that I'm thinking about it, the 970s and 80s are when the Vikings did all of their amazing explorations to Greenland and even to N. America. So it would be really fascinating to be able to speak to one of them.
