8. Unfortuantely, yes
At a "bad taste" party in the early 1990s. Everyone had to bring a dish that featured Spam and the Shatner record was played along with some other classics like The Shaggs. Ugh. Horrendo. And "Mr. Tambourine Man" was just as bad. :scared:

The winning dish was Spam Wellington - Spam wrapped up in Pillsbury crescent roll dough and baked. The loser was Spam ice cream :puke:. Not even the hostess' omvivorous and very hungry cats would touch it.

Good party though....

11. Shatner has a very strange complex
Everything he has done since Star Trek has this "Don't forget, I'm William Shatner" vibe.

I've heard the song, and it sucks. Thankfully, I haven't heard Mr. Tambourine Man.

I didn't buy it; it was a gift. No, really, it was.

15. Actually, the WORST song is
Leonard Nimoy singing The Ballad Of Bilbo Baggins.

18. Careful
If the party goers are too drunk, they might actually like it and decide to stay. ;-)

21. Usually only those of us who "get" it stay.
It's just a good way to send off the squares the wife invites. Heh.

17. He does a really good cover of "Common People" by Pulp.
I'm serious; it's better than the original. It's on his new album.

19. Shatner did even worse.
His performance of "Rocket Man" for the
1978 Sci-Fi and Fantasy Awards was one
of the most bizarre TV moments ever.
He mangles the song beyond recognition
while hamming up a storm.

He also does a pretty awful "Tambourine Man".
