2. I forced myself to port a C program from MySQL to MySQL-or-ODBC

I had to stay at the job until 10 pm. I ordered myself to NOT LEAVE UNTIL I FINISH THE FUCKING THING -- and yet I had to fight every code line of the way not to Alt-Tab into some non-work-related window (ahem :blush:).

But I did it. I did what I was supposed to do. Now I'm going home.

I thought the assignment was due October 14...turns out it's due November 14. Every time I read the outline, I read November as October.

So procrastination wasn't really an issue after all.
