The Vikings Finally Scored!.... |
|
Edited on Fri Oct-14-05 03:21 AM by Robeson
...Thank sysop from the StarTrib for this one....
Come sit right back and you'll hear a tale A tale of fateful trip That started from a small lake town Aboard two tiny ships, aboard two tiny ships.
The mates were a bunch of pole dancers But the wait staff was too pure The Vikings team set sail that day For a three hour tour, a three hour tour.
The action started getting hot The dancers strutted their stuff If not for the prudes in the fearfull crew There wouldn't have been a huff, there wouldn't have been a huff.
The boats turned around and went back home The authorities came aboard But fear not friends, 'cause all's not lost The Vikings finally scored! The Vikings finally scored!

Hey, even though I am a Viking fan, I know they suck this year.
Go Detroit!

6. KitchenWitch, sometimes it hurts so bad, you just have to laugh.... |
|
...we're lifelong fans - obviously - and right now, my wife, with two broken legs, is on the floor laughing. Like I told her, it never matters what happens on the field or during the season with our team, because we'll make the news all 12 months of the year. With our team, the excitement never stops!...

Did you ever hear the story about how Tommy Kramer totally mowed me down in a bar on the 494 strip and expected ME to apologize to him?

10. I was at a "work" happy hour thing at the Rusty Scupper |
|
We had one of the "private" rooms reserved. I had to go use the facilities as it were, which happened to be located in the bar.
I walk through the bar, when all of a sudden, Tommy Kramer falls off his bar stool, knocking me over. When he got up, he said something to the effect of, "Aren't you going to excuse yourself, BITCH!"
I responded by saying, "Why the fuck would I do that, you fell on me you drunken piece of shit."
He was fuming on that one for awhile.

...Good for you. And there's nothing better than a drunken Tommy Kramer story. He really sets a standard, doesn't he?

I think everyone should model their behavior based upon his actions.
:sarcasm:
That story happened after the DUI!

13. You know, our team is amazing..... |
|
...it seems that after our great "Purple People Eater" years, all the news they make is off the field. I've always said, if they would put the focus on the field, as they do off the field, we'd be unbeatable.

Remember that radio interview he did on KQRS?
They called him at 7:00 in the morning, and he sounded like he'd just got home from the bar. He claimed an infant child kept him up all night, but he didn't sound tired so much as sh!tfaced.
I heard he sobered up a few years back, though, so every story does have a happy ending. :)

15. I remember that interview |

It was funny in a pathetic way.
I did not know that he had sobered up, that IS good news.
