How long are unopened granola bars good for?
The school where I teach provides lunch for the teachers, since they do a "family seating" kind of thing for lunch. Alas, today is "fish" sticks, and I don't eat regular fish, let alone "fish" sticks. I've got a granola bar, but I think it's been in my desk since April or May. Do you think it's still any good?

(It's peanut butter and chocolate chunk, by the way.)

4. Probably.
But do you really want to eat something with that many preservatives in it? Hey, it's better than nothing.

6. It's probably still "good" in that you can eat it, but it might be stale.

7. Nonperishable foods like that are generally good for a few months
past their 'sell-by' date, so if there is a date on it somewhere, check it out.

It's most likely fine

8. As what?
After a couple months you can use them to level that wobbly table.

12. Good for what?
If opened long enough, they're good for doorstops or hitting someone over the head with.
