A driver is stuck in a traffic jam on the highway. Nothing is moving.
Suddenly a man knocks on the window. The driver rolls down his window and asks, "What happened?"
"Terrorists kidnapped President Bush and are asking for a $10 million ransom.
Otherwise they are going to douse him with gasoline and set him on fire. We are going from car to car to take up a collection."

The driver asks, "How much is everyone giving on average?"




"About a gallon."

2. I wouldn't donate anything

because, I believe in the Golden Rule, really do, and I'd never burn anyone to death. I don't believe in torture, for anyone, ever. Not even in theory. I'd kill in cold blood before I'd torture. Quick and clean kill; nothing else is human.

But, along with that, I'd never raise up my hand to help that man. I'd not expend one bit of energy to stop them from doing it. I'd turn my back, and walk away. Without a second thought, a glance back, or a shred of guilt for doing it. He hasn't earned the mercy from others, others more like himself, his own kind, any of those that would DO such things...his own kind..and, that is entirely his own fault. He helped build this murderous machine, what makes anyone even ENTERTAIN such ideas, what makes it a funny joke, it's all due to the actions of this admin which he built.

So I'd just walk away.
