My brother almost got electrocuted today |
|
He's an electrician at a construction company in Las Vegas, and while he was handling live wires, one of the dumbshits put the water truck on. He could have been seriously injured. And yet he took the afternoon off instead of reporting the dumbshit. He must be pretty shaken, but he doesn't want to rat out anyone.
It's pretty dangerous when someone fucks up like that, but you must have tremendous loyalty in order to keep from saying anything about it.
He and my SIL are going away for a couple of days--they need it. I only wish he were a little less conscientious and a little more self-preserving.

1. I'd rat that asshole out. |

In a job where a fuck-up can kill people, loyalty to your friends means nothing.

I've seen it happen many times in the business. If you carelessly put someone's life in danger, you get a beating and deservedly so.
