i have mixed feelings about the guy... almost famous & say anything were great... jerry macguire was jerry maguire... he did write fast times... but this is looking bad x(

1. That's because he can't write for people half his age, I guess.
Every clip I've seen from Elizabethtown makes me want to hurl in its artificiality and ridiculousness.

Which is sad, because I like Orly and Kirsten.

2. Cameron Crowe's record as director is spotty...
I agree with you about Almost Famous and Say Anything. AND Jerry McGuire (and not just because of Tom Cruise)

Yeah...28% at rottentomatoes.com is NOT a good sign. :-(
