Update on 12 yr old bd party...for those on the edge of their seats

I thought I should post this, since I am continuing to get responses on my request thread for party ideas. You guys sure are a creative, wacky, fun and helpful bunch!

Here's the deal:

I ran all the cool ideas past the boy after school and he immediately went for the Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire movie idea because he is a movie freak. It's coming out as a new release on Nov. 18, so I figure we go to the Saturday matinee the next day with a bunch of his friends. Have pizza on one end or the other and call it a party. It's easy, convenient and we'd probably be seeing it soon enough, anyway, so why the hell not?

Plus, he played Harry Potter this past summer during a kids' acting camp production of the very same book. I have to brag, he was picked out of 45 kids to play the lead character! Very cool.

Anyway, just wanted to let you guys know what we finally decided on. Thanks again for all the helpful ideas!
