1. I've seen the catalogs.
It was a big snicker when I was in high school.

Maybe ten years ago I saw one of the catalogs for sale in a "collectibles" store, under the glass, and opened to the offending page.

I don't remember the price, except that I thought it was remarkably expensive.

Try ebay, maybe?

5. Anyone remember the OTHER great Sears catalog blunder?
Late seventies? With the f-bomb vaguely visible on a wall behind a bed? It took my family hours to see it--it wasn't scratched it, but sorta rubbed in fuzzily?

6. SNARK! Who needs the Sears catalog?
I was sitting on the floor in Bookstop about 16 years ago, and a guy walked up and stood near me, so of course I looked over when I sensed movement.

He had on dolfin shorts, and um....was emerging...and...I almost threw up right there. It was one of those "don't look don't look don't look" situations.

I'm still traumatized.
