question from a newbie
I am sorry, but can someone tell me what nt or n/t means? I see it all the time. I am not very computer literate regarding message boards (this is my first), so still learning... and thanks.... I love DU; I no longer feel so alone! You guys are great.

2. n/t = no text. it's for when only subject line is used.

17. Actually- BFT is one I made up myself a few years ago...
never used it in a post here, but use it in conversation quite a bit...

think it's a variation of BFD- "Big fuckin' deal"

5. It's used in the subject line to indicate that there's "no text"...
Edited on Sat Oct-15-05 07:35 PM by primate1
In the body of the message. Some people put "n/t" in the body of the message, which completely defeats the purpose, since it's used to let people know that there's no point in clicking on that message, since everything's already said in the subject line.

And welcome to DU! :hi:
