I'm having a great time watching the Leafs - Montreal hockey game

Saturday night is "hockey night in Canada"....Never realized how much I missed hockey till it started up again....Leafs are winning 2-1 starting the third period....GO LEAFS GO!....I only hope it doesn't end up with a tie and a shoot-out...Whoever put this new shoot-out rule in is stupid...YOU DON'T DECIDE THE WINNER OF A TEAM SPORT IN THIS WAY!!!!!....They should have left it as it was....

To me the shoot out is the same as if in baseball they decided a tie game by having a home run derby....Can you imagine the baseball purists going for that?....Hockey has been with us for many, many years (200 perhaps) and has not needed this dumb shoot-out to make it "exciting", which is what they are trying to convince us is the case.
P.S....I'm a woman but don't let that persuade you I'm not knowledgable about hockey...I was born and raised in a small city in Ontario, which has produced more professional hockey player than any other in the world....
