Poll question: Best Batman - Because Batman Begins is out today
In a few hours I'll be getting my copy of Batman Begins. It took x many years but they finally came up with an orgin story that ties that late great Christopher Reeve. So I was wondering who your favorite Batman was/is?

1. FIRST thing I'm doing this morning is getting my BB DVD
It wasn't just a good Batman movie or a good super-hero movie. It was just a damn good movie, period.

2. Am I the only Adam West fan????
The naff campiness of it all - the oh so subtle 'how to be a good person' comments thrown in now and then - the way that the essential bat-tool always just happened to be one of the 3 on his utility-belt.

:bounce:

9. Nope allthough I liked the Green Hornet better.
Allthough that had more to do with Bruce Lee than Van Williams

11. Adam West
A very nice guy. Served him when he stayed at the hotel. Even did something I wasn't supposed to do and asked for an autograph (which he happily did for me).

7. Val Kilmer
I liked the first movie and the third one the best. I don't know why, but I always liked Val Kilmer. Maybe it was his creepily realistic portrayal of the Lizard King?

I liked the one with Val Kilmer also because I loved Jim Carey as the Riddler. I'm not a Carey fan, either, but he was born to play that role.

12. Not knocking you....
But it depends on which Riddler you're talking about.

The Carey Riddler was like the campy Frank Gorshin Riddler from the Adam West days.

However, if you read the comics or watched the cartoons Riddler is usually shown as a frighteningly sane person who is possessed of a genius IQ.

That said, I liked Val Kilmer as Batman but really didn't care for the two villains. Though I liked Adam West's Batman I think that Joel Schumacher should be beaten with a semi-wet noodle for what he did to the Batman franchise.
