What is the "Freebird" of other genres of music? |
I just had some kids in my room for study hall, and "Foggy Mountain Breakdown" came on the recording of the Earl Scruggs Review I was listening to. I said that it was the "Freebird" of bluegrass music. So, I got to thinking...what's the "Freebird" of other genres, say...easy listening, for starters?

5. Should we break down "classical" into the proper subdivisions? |
Let's say...Middle Ages, Renaissance, Baroque, Classical, Romantic.

15. "Louie, Louie"....is the.... |
"Freebird" of the Garage Band sound. Especially The Sonics' version.
"Wrecking Crew" by The Meteors is the psychobilly "Freebird".
