1. I saw it performed live
in Sept 2004 when Brian kicked off his tour here in Minneapolis. That was the most mind-boggling show I have seen in thirty years of going to concerts. Brian is a god.

2. I was at that show in Mpls, too
The Wondermints were incredible. The entire album was amazing.

I also caught him in March 2000 on the "Imagination" tour. It's really great to see him performing in front of appreciative audiences after all he's lived through.

4. Hearing those six- and seven-part harmonies
performed perfectly in a concert setting was breathtaking. Brian seemed a little uptight at the beginning of the show, but by the end of the first set he was bouncing back and forth behind his keyboard like a little boy.

The encore was flabbergasting - hit after hit after hit, with the entire audience singing along. I get chills just remembering it. I have been in the presence of genius twice - the first was the great McCoy Tyner at the old Dakota and the second was Brian Wilson. :loveya:

3. I liked it
Very close to the bootleg smile sessions - so I guess all the bootleggers were on to the right idea...

5. Great album
It's interesting to speculate on how it would have been received in 1967. Probably would have sold more then, but I don't think it would have been another "Sgt. Pepper."

6. I can only imagine how the harmonies sounded at a live concert
The CD is astounding.
