i'm so sick of everyone thinking it's some big skeery conspiracy!! it's called being in a packed city, touching lots of public objects that are coated in germs (doorknobs, hotel rooms, phones, subway seats, etc.), during crappy weather, and drinking too much booze! all of the above can make you far more vulnerable to the germies you may pick up.
