A clock that always said 12:30

I used to live in New York City
Every thing there was dark and dirty
Outside my window was a steeple
With a clock that always said 12:30

Young girls are coming to the canyon
And in the morning I can see them walking
I can no longer keep my blinds drawn
And I can't keep myself from talking.

At first so strange to feel so friendly
To say good morning and really mean it
To feel these changes happening in me
But not to notice till I feel it.

Young girls are coming to the canyon

3. And my dearest Richardo!
As is normal for me, I am ignorant of so much in the pop music world!

I thank you for helping to continue my education!

Good thing you like me...otherwise you could certainly make fun of me much of the time......

I am pleased to have your gentle regards, my dear!

:loveya:

7. And good it is to see you as well, my dear wildhorses!
Sometime you should post some of your own song lyrics!

I have posted a little story over in the Writer's Forum......
You could have a look...it is erotic, though.....just a bit.

8. some of their best songs are the ones no one plays
strange young girls, boys & girls together, safe in my garden, meditation mama...

and straight shooter is funny... where they're singing about someone holding out on their pot stash :P

you gotta give john due credit in the vocal arrangement department
