Poll question: poll for consumers of fast food who know BOTH these chains
If you have eaten at both chains, which one's food do you find is better? I mean, tastier, better quality, better value, etc. This poll doesn't take customer service or beverages into account. :D

PS Southern Californians in the 70s will remember Naugles. Del Taco swallowed them up.

4. Naugles had the best egg and cheese burritos
:9

I say taco bell because they season stuff better. But I do like the classic chicken burrito at Del Taco.

6. Now I used to think Taco Bell was the absolute worst
Taco joint one could go to. That is, until Del Taco started expanding north of the grapevine.

Seriously - if you want bad tacos to assuage the marijuana munchies, nothing less than Taco Bravo will do...

7. I'm dumbfounded
Not picking on you, Taverner, 'cause at least one other person said Taco Bell was better, but -- how can otherwise rational people persist in this opinion? ;)

BTW Del Taco started in Barstow, that rockin' town....

8. I don't think "Better" is the operative word
But "sucks less" is what comes to mind. Taco Bell is horrible. Del Taco is even worse. It's like choosing to be drawn and quartered versus burnt at the stake.

If you ever make it North of the grapevine, and find yourself jonesing for bad, salty food - check out Taco Bravo. It sustained me well during my Eighth-a-day Metal Band days....

10. I may go up there in Nov. on my visit home, just to show Mrs. V.
what "the grapevine" is. I think she has a literal vision in her mind. Need to disabuse her of it! LOL

9. Del Taco is BLAND
And overpriced for the quantity given in relation to the quality.

Taco Bell was better before Pepsi took over. They aren't great, but not as bland as Del Taco, and cheaper.

In Seattle, I chose Taco Time over Taco Bell - like Del Taco, it is pricier, but you get quality and quantity. :9
