what is so freaking hard about washing your hair every day - if it needs it?

This guy here at work has short, straight hair so there's no big issue regarding styling after. I can smell his hair if I pass him at work. GAWD.. it makes me sick.

I only wash mine 3 times a week, unless I go to a concert. Natural oils are important to your hair's health.

that you can't wash your hair enough, and that you should wash several times a day . . . and that shampoos don't damage hair!! Who the hell are they consulting - their marketing reps? Modern shampoos absolutely do SO damage hair and especially so if you do it several times daily. Think I'll take the words of hair stylists over a conglomerate trying to sell me Pantene.

I have thick dry hair as well. 3 times a week for me.

it says that hair can't be washed too often.

Either way, they are wrong. Hair CAN be washed too often, stripping it of natural oils and drying the shaft and the scalp.

I wash my hair every other day or every third day. I could go longer if I didn't use styling products.

Mine is fairly oily so I wash it every day. I know people who are like you that can go 3 days or so.

This guy doesn't appear to wash it more than once a week or maybe even longer.

Her hair stinks so freaking bad it smells up the whole bus. I AM NOT exaggerating! I was a little sick one morning and I almost threw up when this hag got on. Maybe she's mentally ill, I don't know, I don't care to find out, but she doesn't seem so.

14. I wash my body every day, actually twice usually

(normally I take a morning and evening shower)but do not use shampoo on my hair everyday. One, washing it too much dries hair out. Second, i am losing my hair and do not want to lose any precious hairs faster than I have to :P

every other day, I have very thick long hair. Some people need to shampoo every day, some only a couple times a week.

I have a girlfriend that is black and she only shampoo's every couple of weeks and her hair doesn't stink, I wish I could do that, my hair is a pain in the butt.
