I am playing Gems and eating a pumpkin chocolate chip cookie.
I hope no one has a problem with that.

1. I may have a problem with the pumpkin part.
With chocolate chip that just doesn't sound right.

3. I have never liked pumpkin chocolate chip cookies.
I have never made them myself, though I've been given a couple of recipes.

The ones I've tried have always been puffy and cakelike and didn't work with the chocolate chips.

I found these at Albertson's bakery. They are chewy just like regular fresh chocolate chip cookies. And the pumpkin? It just works. I don't know why. It just does.

It'd be great if Albertson's gave out their recipe.

2. A pumpkin chocolate chip cookie ???
I've never heard of it - besides the obvious, what's in it ??

I guess it's a Halloween treat ??

4. Seasonal, yes.
I don't know how this particular variety is made. See my post to trof...I got them at a bakery.

5. Oh dear - now I'll have to troll the internets to find a recipe
It sounds intriguing - I've had pumpkin scones and of course pie, but cookies is something else.......

6. I like these because they are chewy.
Most of the pumpkin chocolate chip cookies I have tried are puffy, and cakelike, even sticky.

These are good!
