I Love NYC
I flew into NYC yesterday for a quick business meeting. I haven't been there in many years. It was a beautiful day. Sunny and warm. I stood on the corner of 57th and 7th and marveled. Carnegie Hall to my right. To my left, down the street, was Central Park. Traveling down 57th I passed Madison Avenue, Lexington, Park Avenue and Broadway. The people I passed were interesting. There is a certain style to New Yorkers I've not experienced in other cities. From the business-men (and women), to the college students and the woman who sang about the homeless, each with their own particular way about them seemed to me to signal competence. History on every corner. Even the graffiti artists are stylish. I love big cities, and NYC is the biggest of the big. To my DU friends who live in the Big Apple, enjoy what you have.

Love it like a person, I do.

It is probably the most wonderful place in the wooooorrrlllddd. In the US, surely.

And my sweet Shahrukh Khan is there too now....sigh.

2. Oh, I do enjoy it - make no mistake!
Although I rarely venture as far uptown as 57th, there's a whole word around here in my neighborhood (the Village) - populated by the greatest people. I feel happy every time I get out in the street.

3. I love it too - I've only visited twice
but I think it's great - and I have so much more to see. I just like taking the subway to a neighborhood and walking around looking at the houses and shops and the people. I can't wait to go back.

New York is just one of those magical cities that if you are willing to give it some love, you will get 10 fold back. It is the one of the most amazing places in the world, imho. hehe

:hi:
