Can you name this sitcom?
Edited on Wed Oct-19-05 07:32 PM by Monkey see Monkey Do
edit - mods - you can lock this if you want. My query has been answered many times over.

-------

I don't know why, but this just flashed into my mind, but I can't place it.

- It aired sometime in the early to mid 90's
- It centered around a teenager and went between his home and school life.
- He had an older brother & I think one of them was called Corey (maybe in real life though)
- He had a girlfriend which got very serious, although I think she began as a minor character & after a while they just became friends
- His teacher (or maybe the headteacher) lived next door and sometimes there'd be scenes where the teacher would give a life lesson in the garden.

I only watched it occassionally because I think it clashed with Fresh Prince or the Simpsons and I can't remember anything distinctive other than the above, sorry.

1. You're thinking of Boy Meets World I'm pretty sure
Corey was the main character. His best friend was Shawn. His girlfriend was Topanga. Eric was his older brother. His teach/principal Mr. Feeney lived next door.

One of my favourite childhood shows.

6. Topanga - I knew she had an odd name
I'm remembering this better now -- Shawn had pretty bad problems with his parents didn't he?

7. His mom skipped out on them and his dad took off after her
And he ended up living with one of his teachers.

3. Boy Meets World
I think you're talking about "Boy Meets World." Corey was the name of the main character, and he eventually married the girlfriend toward the end of the series.
