1. You have classy scent!
I only wear essentail oils these days. My favorite is patchouli but I also like sandalwood - they remind me of 'back in the day.' I'm amazed with the amount of people who recognize patchouli - and I love it when they call me a patchouli-wearing hippy!

8. I love Imari by Avon, and there's a Coty scent, Woods I think it is, can't
find it anywhere but it was reminiscent of cedar smoke from a fire, very nice. I also love sandalwood oil and patchouli oil.
My daughter used to wear Lady Stetson, so I love that one too, very nostalgic for me.

Valentino. European perfume. Hard to find in the states.

Or the knockoff of Angel, cheap at Walgreens. Like it much better than the crazy priced original!

Or "Happy" by Clinique - when it's a free bonus buy!

18. Ah, Lauren!
I love that scent above all other perfumes. I can spot it immediately in any room. That's a scent with history and staying power. It literally has an olfactory memory quality. Coco is a close second.

I think maybe I was parfumier in another life.

As for guy scents, Chanel Pour Monsieur, Aqua di Parma, Oscar and Polo Crest (out of production) are all very pleasant wears. Ralph Lauren's Purple Label is pretty amazing too.

Overall, I think my wife prefers the Chanel Pour Monsieur best.

That is the most incredible scent. Lauren is classy as hell, too. I love it when certain scents bring back memories. I wore Tabu when I was in high school (1968, etc.) - most of the other girls wore Ambush.

I need some more, actually. I haven't worn perfume in years.

Lately I just smell like green tea body lotion. :)

32. I always have Chanel No. 5 on my vanity tray at any given time.
My grandmother wore it, and I started wearing it in tihe mid 80s. I do not wear it particularly often, but it is one of my enduring favorites.

I also love Bobbi Brown's Beach, and it's the fragrance I wear the most in the summer.

Besides those, I have Eternity and Abercrombie 8.

Right now, all I am wearing is a lotion made up of lavender, rose, violet and musk. It smells clean and fresh, not at all too flowery like I thought it might.

39. Angelfire from Mary Kay
My favorite is Chanel No. 5, but I can't afford it these days and the cheap knock-offs of it smell more like paint thinner than perfume. Back in high school in the 70's I really liked Jovan's Sex Appeal. Is that stuff still around?? If I come across it I might try it again. Though I'd risk some young checkout girl thinking "What's an old woman like you doing with a scent named THAT??" :+

41. I can't stand perfume
Smells way too artificial and chemical-y (I know, not a word :P) to me. I like wearing essential oils instead. They're easier on my nose and I can make my own blends to suit my mood (I'm into aromatherapy so there's an added benefit).
