Just Came Home To Find My Kitchen Flooded
Not sure what happened yet, other than some vague idea that something's wrong with the plumbing (duh). On top of that, the kitchen was sort of a disaster beforehand and I'm very sick with a kidney infection and don't feel like cleaning this all up at 1:30 in the am.

Where's the "whine" smilie?

1. Sorry to hear it REP
That sucks

A flooded kitchen would be bad without the kidney infection.

Wish I could help!

4. I Wish You Were Too, Except...
My housekeeping so bad I'd be too embarassed to let you in! I can blame the flooding for a lot of what's wrong with the kitchen, but that doesn't explain the rest of the place.

I try to blame my lack of tidiness on the cats, chronic illness and an injured arm - all true, but the sad fact is is that I lack the "neatness" gene. Damit.

6. I hear you
I struggle with lack of energy at times, so sometimes my house is less than tidy as well.

Chronic pain and chronic illness really sucks.

7. I'd KILL For "Less Than Tidy"
It's ... like a bookstore exploded, and then six cats ran rampant through it.

3. Well ... It's a Small Kitchen ...
And I rent, so at least it's not *my* plumbing ...

Times like this make me really wish I weren't such a lousy housekeeper!

5. Don't worry ...
you'll pick things up a bit between the door and the kitchen before the plummer gets there ...

Just work on feeling better - that's the most important thing.

8. Just Need To Find a Shovel
Bag everything on the floor ... take it to the dumpster ... mop floor ... sheesh, makes me tired to even think about it!

9. Wish I Could Pack Stuff on the Backs of These GIANT SPIDERS!
They are not helping, though.

10. Where do you live?
I'm on L.I., and my basement flooded last week, after eight solid days of rain. Can't tell you how much stuff was ruined.

11. Silicon Valley!
Seems to be plumbing-related, but I found water in places it wouldn't be if the sink pipe burst or was leaking.

Grew up in the Midwest, so I know flooded basements - major sympathy to you. Hope your foundation's okay.
