Do disruptors, infiltrators ever contribute $ to DU? Just to have a star? |
|
I never paid attention to this, was just wondering about it...

as a class of disruptors they tend to be a little more serious, in their intent, that say your average aggravated and unhinged freeper. They are usually here because of a particular reason.

A troll can accomplish more mayhem with advanced search and other donor-only features, and having a donor star can legitimize a poster in the minds of other DUers. Hell, one now-notorious long term troll served as a mod in the past, so it shouldn't be a surprise that some would make a token donation to get a donor star.

9. I bet they do. Which is just silly. |

Even if they disrupt for a second, we still got their money. I bet some get one donated to them. But still in the process, it benefits DU!!

will just evoke sympathy by commenting that you can't access some forum or whatnot...usually some generous DU'er will purchase a star for you...that's what i did...not that i'm a disrupter...(kinda sounds like a star trek weapon...)
