Plus, just look around you next time you check out at the grocers. Between Elvis Seen Lawn Bowling Naked, and Shrek goes to Hollywood, there's tabloids of photoshopped aliens. That's pretty much what I saw today. Maybe I'm getting old, but my first thought was, why don't we have dvd's for math and history and foreign languages?
Americans live their lives in a sad orgy of corporate support.

OK, I know, this was supposed to be funny. And short.

8. Our cultural quirks manifest themselves in different ways.
David Hasselhoff is a helluva lot more popular in Europe than he is in North America. It may not be as bad as having Bush for a president, but I think the old adage about glass houses holds here.
