South Park was lame last night. |
|
It was basically about how the flood (presumably in NOLA, although in the fictional version it's a town called "Beaverton") was a result of bad planning/a natural disaster and the federal government was in no way to blame. Oh, and global warming is an overblown farce.
I think Parker/Stone's success is starting to affect their writing. Usually, they don't take a particular viewpoint and just make fun of both sides.
Lame.

1. South Park was awesome! |
|
It was a 75% spoof of The Day After Tomorrow.
The other 25% dealt with how stupid the "blame game" is!
Great episode!

on all points. It kind of pissed me off, that they made light of Katrina that way.
I don't always agree with them or their takes on things, but I can almost always find humour in the show and their lampoons. I just didn't think their take on Katrina, global warming or the govt. lacking fault was funny or relevant.
I shouldn't say they--apparently Trey directed last night's episode.
