4. many MANY weeks in advance. |
|
i finished up around 5:30 am, 2 hours before i had to wake up to turn the first one in.
My paper on Pytheas the Greek turned out to be about 6 pages long, and the Alexander Hamilton paper I wrote was just under 8.

3. I've been there before |

Two five page papers > One ten page paper, especially on tight deadlines.
Good luck. :)

The rough draft's not due until November 8th, but I'm doing it bit by bit.
Glad to hear it all worked out well. :hi:

10. i'm an "all at once" kinda guy. |

i tried to space out the work, but I always seem to be distracted by the allure of xbox or sleep. Oh well, I can sleep when I'm dead right? Good luck on that!

6. OMG, I remember those days. You have my sympathies... |
|
I take it your a Poli Sci major, from your username. (My deductive powers are AMAZING, I know) ;)
I was a Politics Major, myself. I remember the insane amounts of reading and then all the damn papers. Ugh.
Computers in the dorms were juuuust barely comin' in, so I did all of my papers on a typewriter back then. Can you imagine? The whiteout, the hassle.... LOL.
Jeez, I'm probably dating myself... :eyes: Oh well, Time marches on....
Good luck with those papers! Be Brilliant, as you thrill them with your verbal dexterity.

9. i felt i did fairly well... |
|
i love using overblown language in papers, most professors i have had appreciate it because it makes them feel like they actually have to do their job to grade it.
i couldn't even imagine having to write a serious paper on a typewriter, i would've lost my mind had i tried that last night. i would've just turned it in and it would've been one big white out blot, it would've smelled horrible considering how much i second guess my choice of words.

7. In about 3 weeks, I will be in your shoes.. |
|
I have a presentation and 10 page position paper due in 3 weeks on the effect of liberalization of free trade on American jobs :puke: IPE classes suck.
No doubt, I will wait until 2 days before the paper and presentation is due before I start it. I truly believe I am physically unable to start things when I should. I have tried to even start major projects a week before they're do and just can't concentrate until I'm under the gun BIG time.
Hopefully, you're like me though and do your best work when you're tired and cranky :hi: Hang in there!

8. yeah that's usually when i do my best work too. |
|
IPE's not such a bad subject of mine. if you're interested, check out a book called Globophobia. I don't particuarly agree with the position it made, but it's a pretty recent book about the effects of globalization and liberalization of trade. it was quite useful for my IPE class. good luck! :hi:
