I had a bad day at work.
I happened to start talking about health care at work with someone and why a single payer system would be good.

She told me that she had a bill she is going to refuse to pay because "it is already on my credit report so why bother?"

Then someone chimed in and said that a single payer system would cause people to always go to the doctor and cause long waiting times. As the conversation evolved the other person said that he was in favor of forced sterlization of the poor, and that he thinks we should cut out the EITC because "why should I pay for anyone else's kids." He also said that outsourcing is good for America, or at least "some program I cannot remember right now said it was."

The woman I was originally talking to also started to say that anyone who makes six bucks an hour should just get another job or an education, after all "I worked three jobs and still had free time afterwards. Anyone who does not have that is just lacking discipline."

Then we were told to stop talking. *sigh* why do we even bother? Of course now I am probably going to get fired (work in a Right-To-Be-Terminated state) for talking about this.

1. I won't say that I had a bad day ...
its just difficult to work with certain people because they would rather concentrate on things rather than the job at hand .

9-5 causual conversation only, no politics no religion no problem. But now your day is over and you learned not to mess with those whack jobs. What I would do is put on same easy listening music take some juice relax and not worry about tomarrow. You can't change it why bother. Feel better and remember you can't reason with fools, drunks, and republicans. :D
