Man Put Nude Photos Of Himself On Women's Cars - Arrested

West Bend - A Hartford man has been charged with going on a nearly three-month spree where he placed Polaroid photographs of his genitalia on the cars of women who had parked at shopping centers.

The vehicles belonged to women ranging in age from their teens to mid-40s.

Jeffrey J. Hein, 40, told investigators he selected women "at random" and placed the photos on their cars because he thought they "would find it funny," according to a criminal complaint filed Thursday in Washington County Circuit Court.

Hein was charged Thursday with eight counts of lewd and lascivious behavior and five counts of disorderly conduct, all misdemeanors.

The criminal complaint alleges Hein placed the photographs on cars seven different times, with the first occurring on Aug. 25 at a ShopKo store in West Bend and the most recent occurring Tuesday at Hobby Lobby in West Bend.

Other episodes allegedly occurred at the Paradise Golf in West Bend, as well as a Wal-Mart, Kmart and Sally Beauty Supply Store, also in West Bend, according to the complaint.

Washington County Assistant District Attorney Holly Bunch told Circuit Judge Annette K. Ziegler during a bail hearing Thursday that at least 14 additional charges would be filed against Hein today.

More charges might be filed in other counties as well, Bunch said.
