I saw Wallace and Gromit: Curse of the Were Rabbit yesterday
For those not familiar with claymation artist Nick Park, his character Wallace gets himself into a bind with another one of his crazy inventions.

The characters were excellent, especially Helena Bonham Carter and Ralph Fiennes.
While I preferred his "pre Dreamworks" stuff a bit better, Parks still keeps a little edge on his work.

As with Creature Comforts, which he presents as a claymation documentary of animal's experience being confined in a zoo, this movie also creates the tension regarding animal rights between Wallace (who humanely removes pests from vegetable gardens in preparation for the town's giant vegetable festival) versus Victor Quartemane who would rather shoot the animals, to the displeasure of Lady Tottington.

If one is a fan of claymation, Nick Park, animation or has kids, this is a great flick. Given how short it is (a little over an hour) I'd recommend catching a matinee so you can catch a deal.

1. I thoroughly enjoyed it.
Even my 14-year-old nephew admitted it was better than he thought it would be. Hehe. He's at the age where certain things are very uncool. I had to talk him into seeing this pic. I had a feeling it would be good.

I asked if he noticed that Gromit has no mouth and that all of that character's emotions are animated with eyebrows and ears (mostly eyebrows). He hadn't noticed. :) The animation was very well-done, indeed. :)

4. Isn't it a good feeling? :)
Did you change your hair or anything? :D Amazons prefer blondes and redheads.

12. LOL! Sometimes a parrot will go ga-ga over a hair treatment. :)
Once when I had my hair permed, my Amazon absolutely loved it and couldn't stop commenting: "Oh! Oh! Oh-OH-OH!" He was in total lust for over a week. When I have my hair lightened, it's the same thing, but when I had my hair dyed back closer to its natural color, he was very suspicious for several days. I should probably get it streaked just to make him happy. :)

3. I had to drag my step-daughter every inch of the way...
in the door.

But, I saw her laugh all the way through the movie out
of the corner of my eye.

;)

Afterward, she commented it was much much better than
she was expecting.

That movie was the best birthday present I've ever received.
(It came out on my birthday.)

7. Great movie
Keep in mind my SO and I call each other Bunny (even though she is The Bunny). So all those bunnies in the movie.... well we haven't stopped waving at each other since seeing the movie.

Yes she is addicted to cute.

14. You should see if their short films are around on tape/DVD
Got them on tape; A Grand Day Out, The Wrong Trousers, and A Close Shave...AGDO was the first W&G short and the clay figures and animation are not that spectacular but TWT and ACS are excellently animated and designed.
