1. Great site
I have it bookmarked and have used pics from there as my desktop pic. For a while I was changing it every couple of weeks.

I am fortunate to work for the astronomy community.

Science, for me, exposes the beauty of the universe.

As always, it is a pleasure to see you, CaliforniaPeggy.

11. Isn't that something.
A camera, millions of miles away, and we get to
see the pictures.

I agree, the hubble is a very important instrument.

15. your welcome
I get kind of choked up too, something inside me sighs, its almost too much to take in, like my brain is too limited to really comprehend the awesomeness of it.

Just thrilling to be able to look at something like that.

24. I used to work with a fella at a Taco Bell (back in the late '80s)
He went on to get a PhD in Physics. When he was in grad school he worked on the Magellan mision to Venus. We used to call him Taco Boy, we were pretty good friends but I haven't talked to him in years.

23. Ya know, I read about ants that carry 100 times their own weight,
but there are no pictures of ants in space.

I admit it I am a specie-ist.

Do this, you insects!
