Music suggestion for Classic Rockers over 50 |
|
Put The Stones new CD in the player, put on the headsets, click forward to track 11, Dangerous Beauty, and turn the volume way up.

"Rough Justice" and "Sweet Neo Con". A Bigger Bang is their best album in a long time.

6. I've never had the pleasure |

but I've been cranking up the Stones since 65. My one concert claim to fame is Hendrix in 67! Awesome. Talk about classic rockers, I saw Black Oak Arkansas in 1977, incredible performance.

2. Don't classic rockers have to turn the volume way up for every CD? |

I love it when you whippersnappers display a sense of humor. I can't wait till Mick and the Boys put out a CD (or whatever it will be called then) to commemorate my 60th birthday, when Mick is 69.
Obviously gyrating on stage for 40 years is good for ya.

But I'm stunned by 'Back Of My Hand'. 'Infamy' was marvelous in concert.

Rock and Roll music is still so young but yet people think they have a time limit on when people can play a certain type of music. Music is music and anyone can play whatever the fuck they want to play. I haven't seen the rule book that says you have to stop playing rock at the tender age of 30.
Stones still rock in my opinion.

I don't know how old you are, I'm 51. And to publicists and advertisers of music I'm over the hill. So my generation (and maybe you are a part of that generation) are the ones who should be shouting your post. Mick is almost old enough to be my father and he's kicking ass. There is no rule book. However, if you are around the "tender age of 30" you will be marginalized with each passing day. I'd rather put the head sets on and crank it up. I'm "old", I'm retired, I don't have to work and I turn the volume up loud every day. Ain't that a bitch?

11. I will also suggest 'Hey hey, my my' |
|
Hey hey, my my Rock and roll can never die There's more to the picture Than meets the eye. Hey hey, my my.
Out of the blue and into the black You pay for this, but they give you that And once you're gone, you can't come back When you're out of the blue and into the black.
The king is gone but he's not forgotten Is this the story of Johnny Rotten? It's better to burn out 'cause rust never sleeps The king is gone but he's not forgotten.
Hey hey, my my Rock and roll can never die There's more to the picture Than meets the eye.
