Seriously though.. living in Anchorage is not bad. A lot of places in Minnesota and North Dakota beat out Anchorage most of the winter for being C-C-C-COLD!

Anchorage is along the water, so it's not the frozen arctic... Fairbanks (360 miles north of here) is another story though! Brrrrr!!

19. I'm from Nebraska
so I understand the concept of a cold winter. But I would never refer to 35 as "nice" unless it was after about a week of the aforementioned -20.

But 35 = nice in October?? Hells no!
