9. I used to work for a trucking company

a few years ago as a reefer LTL load planner. Some of the truck stops have internet accessibility for the drivers.

3. I was "rescued" by a trucker once.

My car broke down on I-5 in Oregon. This in the days before cell phones. A trucker came along, picked me up, and delivered me (45 miles down the road) to my mother's front door. A truly kind man!
