3. Yes, but...
unlike American sci-fi, there's more than enough plot and character to keep the visuals on the side where they bloody well belong. By comparison, Star Wars, Star Trek, et al, are chickenscratch scribbled by toddlers!

Don't forget, Blake's 7 (the ORIGINAL "Firefly") came out in 1978 and is a little more direct regarding the evil of fascism, property before people, and so on.

Most people, particularly the "MTV generation" summarily ignore something if it doesn't look good enough to their eyeballs. And I pity those fools.

But I never expected anything like it to be made in the US, nevermind anything GOOD (and "Firefly" is absolutely fantastic!!)

4. Nice shot of the Liberator flight deck! (VHS framegrab, obviously...)
Gan's outfit more than suggests this was series 1... and only one episode featured ORAC (eponymously titled...)
