Wow! Haven't had a cigarette in a week and I can........... |
|
already sing Seen all Good People by Yes. God, I haven't been able to sing that for years. Been smoking Kools for 35 years straight LOL, now that's encouragement. I decided a week ago to see what happens to my voice if I stopped smoking. I haven't been able to do a falsetto in months.
Band practice is going to be a blast this week. Question is, will I be able to stick to it?

And how nice do your lungs feel now? Have you notice how the lustre has come back to your skin?

Remember, those tobacco companies are mainly red.....they love repubs!
They don't care if you die.....they just want your money!
You are saving more than your voice....you are saving your LIFE!
And you have now been through the worst of the withdrawal.....
HANG IN THERE BABY.....YOU CAN DO IT!

3. It's strange. Everytime I want a smoke I think to myself....... |
|
"What do I get out of it?" (I've walked around all week with a pack in my pocket as a crutch.) Then I get an attitude, angry and say to myself "F**k Them." It's worked so far.

7. Working so far.....Ask me in a.... |
|
week or so. I didn't even tell anyone, even my wife, until after a few days because I didn't want the pressure loved ones put on you. They mean well but it only pissed me off. When asked I've been telling people I haven't quit. I just haven't had a good enough reason to smoke another one. Every day it gets a little easier.

That is one tough effin' cigarette.
Please stay quit! You CAN do it.
If you've made it this far, you CAN do it.
I quit 13 years ago.
