Can you help with gift ideas?

My husband and I drew my aunt and uncle in the family Christmas present exchange. I'm not sure what to get for them.

My uncle is 60, and my aunt is in her mid-50s. They are both Democrats and strong environmentalists. My uncle is proud of his Norwegian and Swedish heritage. They like good food, animals, and the outdoors.

The limit is $50.

Anyone have any ideas for me?

Personally, am looking to Xmas buying for many thinking in terms of conserving home heating usage. So, am getting things such as zip-up lounging blankets, warm slippers, cosy socks, sweaters...

4. spend $20-30 on Heifer Project or local animal shelter in their names

then buy them something little but thoughtful with the rest, perhaps some food product linked to Scandinavian heritage (lutefisk is not what I had in mind.)
